FAQ: 760 sq. ft. Lofted Log Cabin
Q: What does “3/4 loft” mean?
A: A 3/4 loft covers most of the upper level, offering extra usable square footage while maintaining an open, airy feel.
Q: Can the design be modified?
A: Yes. You can customize the floorplan, log sizes, and features to fit your needs.
Fully Customizable Log Cabin Kit Designs
You can flip the floorplan left to right, up, down, move things around to make rooms larger and others smaller, stretch the design (more costs), shrink it (save $), make it taller, different wall log diameters, add or subtract deck, railing, porches, entry trusses, add a garage, you name it, all doable. We try to advise you to keep the bathrooms stacked (plumbing costs), so a wet wall is shared, and some design elements like ridge lines and posts need to be approximately where they are, but the sky is the limit (let us help you get what you want)!
Exterior View

This home is on top of a mountain in Montana. Off grid solar, large porch, elk and deer just out of the picture! The extended roofline helps with snow and rain, and a full length porch protects the deck.
Interior View

The interior of this nice cabin is comfy, with an open floor plan, a full bathroom (or 3/4), a private bedroom, and room upstairs. This home is not completed yet, but you get the idea!
Exterior View

The loft of this home is what we call a 3/4 loft. Room up there for a twin, a full, and two cots with room to spare. The traps can be operable, or just viewing as this one is. There is a low skylight so you can view a beautiful hillside.
